This artwork combines a central image of Highland Cows in a landscape on a mountainside. The image is surrounded by the Thompson camel tartan bordering the outside. This clan tartan inspired the infamous Burberry fashion tartan that is worn around the world. This piece showcases two aspects of Scottish cultural iconography. This painting is from the ‘Tartan’ series.
