This artwork combines a central image of a Squirrel in profile and as a portrait holding a prized nut. The image is surrounded by a MacMillan Dress tartan bordering the outside. This piece showcases two aspects of Scottish cultural iconography. This painting is from the ‘Tartan’ series.
